“Paper thin walls. You can hear everything going on around you.”

“Clean and close to the freeway. There are only two floors but there is no elevator to rooms on the second floor. If you have heavy bags, ask for a first floor room.”

“You can’t always park at the front. However there’s plenty of parking around the hotel.”

“Parking lots was being redone so a lot of it was roped off. This left to fewer parking spots obviously. It was hard to find someone at the front desk at times. Checked out a day early, but was still charged for a full 2 days. Silent treatment from the Mgr. Will not stay here again due to the mgr not responding to emails or phone calls.”

“Room wasn’t clean I had to ask for another. Host pushed back until assertive. Passcode didn’t work had to ask for another. Cheap rooming but wouldn’t stay again”

“This is an older building with lots of "land-lord-specials" to try to cover repairs and update the building. The pipes vibrated and rumbled when we took showers, which others had complained about to management while we were sitting in the lobby. The staff were all friendly and tried to be accommodating but the pipe situation was throughout the building. The room was fairly clean but the bedding did have stains (bright blue and pink). “Zermatt is based on a german town of the same name, and strives to emulate the same ascthetics. In this regard, it succeeds. But I suspect that, after Covid hit, it never fully recovered. There are empty buildings, small aspects that require attention, and outdated signage. Also, the spa is not complementary.”

“I was told by the clerk when I checked out that this property had been sold and the new owners were trying to fix the property. She apologized for the problems we had… but was not really very sincere. “Recently renovated and apparently rebranded, I was very pleased with the experience. Friendly staff and the room was unusually complete for a moderately priced place. Things like nightlight in the bathroom & hooks to hang clothes on are left out in so many places these days. The breakfast area was particularly well stocked and being looked after. Would stay here again. I also appreciated not being charged for parking which has become too common for places where every guest arrives by car due to...
