“Great option to stay over. However, only hiccup is with the onsite parking. Property is on a busy road and parking place is very tight and limited. Be prepared to find parking elsewhere if you are unlucky. ”

“The Darling is a beautiful and luxurious hotel. We had a wonderful experience here that began with the lovely lady at check in who was so nice, polite. friendly and extremely helpful. We were celebrating my husband's 60th Birthday and had booked a beautiful Stellar Suite for 2 nights. As we opened the door to our room, to our surprise, we realised that we had been upgraded to one of the amazing Penthouse suites!! “Beautiful room and spot. I find most apartments showers have weird showers and this was no exception, no pressures or temp control. I would score this 4.5* only because of the shower. Easy access to tram and beach”

“The one bedroom apartment was fantastic for 2. The bedroom and the living room both facing the ocean and with sliding doors. Bathroom with a one person jacuzzi was nice and big with two basins and a window where you could see the ocean through the bedroom. Staff was friendly. Both inside and outside swimming pools could have been a bit warmer to be used in the winter and the sauna was being serviced.”

“on our arrival we were told our booked room had a person with the same name. Reception told us they would upgrade us but it would take some time. they gave us a $50 voucher for the adjacent restaurant which cost us $130 for a light meal. I had to ask for an engineer to fix a very noisy exhaust fan. would not go back”

“Room was great - comfortable, clean and spacious. Reception staff were welcoming and accommodating. Location was close by to our reasons for staying. Criticisms- whilst my dietary requirement was catered for at breakfast, it was done so with an air of annoyance as if I had a choice (I wish I didn't have my condition) pending which chef was on and how busy/understaffed the restaurant was. This could have been easily resolved in my case if the scrambled eggs didn't have cream in it or if fried...
