Hotel vicino a Branch Canal - New Castle

“We left upon arrival. Room smelled of smoke and must. The room was substantially smaller than anticipated - the king bed did not leave much walking space around the perimeter, even for a person of smaller stature such as myself.”

“The room was not clean it was more so the smell from the blankets, the bathroom was dirty and hair was in the tub and a spider, the outside was nice. The young guy was cool but for the price it's not worth it honestly and I thought Delaware didn't tax. Also no one comes around to clean the rooms like normal motels do so don't look forward to getting a clean room.”

“Beds were fine but everything else was gross. We arrived to what felt a bit unsafe - 24/7 surveillance signs which included large disclosures about the property not being liable for car break in's, long term stay guests sitting in "look out" positions outside rooms in walk ways outdoors & beyond dirty bathroom. The back of the bathroom door was filthy, brown stain dripping down the door with many small black hairs & what appeared to be poop...also the mold was everywhere even around the...

“The non-smoking rooms all smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which made the stay uncomfortable. The bedding appeared old and worn, and the comforters showed significant wear and tear. Overall, the room did not feel as clean or well-maintained as expected.”

“It is located just off a main highway with a Cracker Barrel and a Waffle House on the same side and a Golden Corral just across the highway. This location is an older facility. The owners are doing very well to make the accommodations pleasant. It's primary usage would be for a night or two stay while traveling a long distance as there are no types of any recreation or entertainment available. The price is right and there is a small fee for your pet.”

“We used public transportation rather than rent a car: The bus stop was conveniently located right outside of the hotel for local use or for a transfer to the Amtrak station; restaurant options were within walking distance, and Ubers were available within minutes.”

“I didn't like that it was a dead mouse in my room when I arrived. I had to go to the office to get towels and wash clothes. The laundry room was out of order. The room had double beds. The smell from the mouse was overwhelming.”

“Many homeless people behind the building- door didn’t lock properly.”

“We did not check in until midnight because of flight change. It was nice to check in and crash. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. In the morning, I heard the staff laughing in the laundry room. I thought they must enjoy their job and who they work with. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Wonderful stay!”

“Bed was horribly uncomfortable. The place smelled like smoke as soon as you enter. The shower was disgusting. Paint was peeling from the walls. The faucet had a non stop drip….I could go on and on, point is just stay anywhere else.”

“The staff really makes the stay. All of them are so friendly and make you feel welcomed and wanted. We've stayed multiple times and now some feel like family or old friends!”
