“Fantastic location. Really nicely decorated and has everything you needed. Comfortable bed, lush shower. Host was great, really accommodating, had thought of everything. So easy to get to bars,restaurants, shopping, train station etc, would highly recommend to anyone. We booked the smallest room,and it was perfectly fine as a place to sleep and shower. Excellent stay.”

“Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost.”

“Amazing local feel with local owner/operators. Extremely clean and stunning veiws of Dover. Great homade breakfast and super helpful with information about the area. Best place to stay without exception!”

“The room was lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean food in restaurant was excellent good breakfast staff were extremely friendly and helpful overall a very enjoyable stay they couldn’t do enough for you definitely one to go to again”

“What a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb...

“A fantastic stay. Rooms just perfect. Lovely touch with the coffee machine and the fridge in the pantry with fresh milk and additional bottled water. Breakfast was excellent and far far beyond anything that you would expect at a pub type of stay. Location was quiet and a great base to explore Kent and the coastline. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Full marks for the Duke William’👏👏 ”

“Excellent hotel. Everything is well laid out and perfectly furnished from the elegant bathrooms to the welcoming rooms. Even the stairs are perfect with their quality wooden flooring. The whole building has a good feel to it. All the staff were superb. Warm, welcoming and helpful. The voucher for a cocktail in the basement bar was a delightful surprise. The basement bar with its Saturday DJ may be catering for the younger generation, but it was great fun, even for us with only few grey hairs...

“We loved our weekend , the hotel was in a great location . Facilities staff and food were wonderful . The only downside was the constant traffic noise at night until early hours of the morning . This is probably the busy bank holiday weekend .”

“Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!”

“We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Penthouse ,the location was great ,a short walk to all the attractions ,restaurants/pubs ,shopping and transport . The flat was well appointed ,we liked the little extra's that were provided .it was comfortable and homely . a nice place to relax in . The communication was great ,and the local information provided was very helpful . We would definitely stay here. again ”

"Posto incantevole, questo edificio immerso nel verde, stuttura con un suo stile, albergo in parte in ristrutturazione, parte delle camere gia ristrutturate, la nostra nonostante è stata ancora da ristrutture presenta un arredamento in stile confortevole e sopratutto pulita. Parcheggio gratuito all'interno del giardino del hotel, dalla strada si fa un pò di difficoltà a trovare la stradina d'entrata tra gli alberi della strada. In zona abbastanza centrale da poter visitare il centro storico di Canterbury a piedi. "

"Purtroppo sono stata solo una notte, ma la camera era stupenda. Non sarei più andata via. Spaziosa, pulita e arredata con gusto. Ho speso poco ed ho avuto un soggiorno indimenticabile . Non so se le camere sono tutte così ma la mia era favolosa!"
