Accommodation very expensive though and pub was very busy that meant our table for dinner was moved in to bar area and two main courses not available. The service team followed through with our request for one room on the ground level to accommodate my mother who has difficulty walking up stairs AND placed a roll away bed in the second room. “The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay”

“My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Buckland Manor. The staff was so lovely, the room was always clean, and the food…unbelievable! The staff was also so kind of let us know about the history of the manor which was fascinating. We have told many friends and family about this place and we will definitely be back. ”

Such friendly staff who made our break memorable, special shout out to Tia and the manager (who both work non stop to ensure you enjoy your stay) and the lovely, friendly lady at breakfast. So sorry we didn’t get all names. Nothing is too much trouble. We ate at the hotel for dinner and lunch and the presentation and food is exceptional. Room was lovely, much more spacious than expected and quiet. Enjoyed the spa at the sister hotel and a very relaxing...

“Got in late and left early but the ppl were very kind and efficient The room clean, spacious and not standard. Fascinated by the age of the structure and he well it's kept. If you drive careful getting into their car park. The entrance was not made for today's fat cars. Many have scraped their left mirror on the wall. ”
