“Clean room, excellent shower at good.”

“Helpful staff, clean rooms, meals were fab. However no aircon in the room made it very uncomfortable to sleep & there was quite a delay in getting food & it didn’t seem to be overly busy when we sat down to eat”

“Restaurant was closed in the evening. Breakfast was brought early for me. Better quality ingredients would improve the cooked breakfast. ”

“Clean tidy room with large bathroom in a pleasant quiet village, lovely friendly hosts. Good breakfast in the Tea room below. In easy reach of the attractions that the Dales is known for.”

“Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome.”

“The room was very clean and tidy! Staff are very friendly, the breakfast is amazing very filling! And the parking is very easy too access but when there are a few guests staying the car park can get very tight, overall really good and best bit its only 17 mins drive too Alton towers from there ”

“The room was clean, Staff excellent, Bar fully stocked, Wifi good. Room was very small 10foot wide 20foot long, bed very soft, no good for people with back problems. Advertised as B&B cleaner had to get manager in to do breakfast which was basically a bacon sandwich. No breakfast the following day even though it was the chef who let us out of building!”

“Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Kettle and coffee machine with good supply of tea, coffee and fresh milk. Staff friendly and efficient. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Lovely location for a walking break - we appreciated use of the pub car park before check-in/after check-out. Would stay here again in future.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant and bar. Comfortable bed. Tea/coffee. Air conditioning! Clean enough. Parking is a pain and expensive £8.20/night. At least the garage is secure.”
