Baite in Cumbria

“The caravan is on a very clean delightful site. You are in the lakes but feel like you are on a beach holiday, so best of both worlds. Nice plot near the Children's park. Tidy caravan with everything you need. Met the staff on site, very helpful. Gorgeous homemade ice cream hut near the beach and has its own bar with entertainment. Owner excellent with communication, everything you need for a family holiday. All you need in Millom including Tesco's and eateries. Food deliveries even to caravan....

“The hut is as described on the website - no nasty surprises. Views are stunning even in the rain. Plenty of space to bbq / camp fire outside. It is quite remote spot which is what we were looking for and if there had been no cloud I’m sure the star show would’ve been spectacular.”

“Well proportioned, clean property set within a beautiful location. Would happily stay again at this price point. Could be noted that the site Wi-Fi is essentially £30 a week which is mildly annoying, but hopefully you’ll be spending your days out and about enjoying the incredible scenery!”

“We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. ”

“We had an amazing week at Ullswater Cabin. The cabin itself was perfect for a week for a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 10. They loved the table tennis and pool facilities. The location of the cabin is great both on the site itself and within the lakes. We didn’t need to drive for more than 20 minutes to go anywhere (we could have if we wanted to but didn’t need to) and fitted so much into one week. Would definitely recommend. ”

“Very clean and tidy, perhaps a little dated but the hot tub more than made up for it. Stress and hassle free the check in process was easy. The site is very well maintained making it an all round relaxed and very enjoyable stay.”

“Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed.”
