“Needs updates. Musty smell. We could hear every foot step/jumping from the people above us! They did not have any respect for others! They would arrive late at night and continue with the jumping noise late and we had a hard time staying asleep.”

“Location was great. Close to shops, restaurants and about 1-2 blocks straight down to the beach. More than enough parking (we did not have a car on this trip though). Staff was quick to answer questions and help us when needed. Breakfast was well stocked. Only issue was the doors slam close behind you so there was a lot of noise at night if people were not considerate enough to hold their door.”

“We arrived at 5:30 pm and our room was not ready we have to wait more than 40min. For them to clean it... if the check-in is at 3:00 pm was is it possible?...”

“This hotel was dirty, room was extremely small and old with a dingy looking bed. The parking lot had many old looking vehicles with men hangung out in the parking area. The hotel was located off the main road in a corner section with little safety night lights. The hotel condition was extremely poor, Do Not Book!!!!”

“Location is perfect but the property was dirty, seems like someone was just there , smelled nasty, trash piled at the door upon arrival, parking is not free. A ticket was placed on my car. Communication is terrible due to the different hosts I was trying to reach out too. After seeing the condition we decided to make the best of it because of the weekend I could not get a temporary credit to book another home for my family. Not an ideal home for family. I disputed the charges as soon as I could.”

“I reached out with a text to property manager and he responded that day to ask me about the sink and then I texted him with all of the stuff I found wrong with the location. He said he was sending someone and never did.”

“I booked this hotel expecting a similar experience to the same brand in Smoky Mountain, but it was very disappointing. While the room was fine, everything else fell short. Housekeeping was inconsistent and required repeated requests, food service was poorly managed and often not ready on time, and overall service was average. For a similar price, this did not meet expectations.”

“I stayed in room 312…my daughter left her special teddy bear and the staff was nice enough to hold it till the end of the week till we came back threw…and accommodated us with everything we needed for our time there”

“It's a newer Tru and very nice property. Right beside Topsail Hill and there's a Donut Hole right down the sidewalk. You can tell the staff really cares and takes a lot of pride in the property. The Wednesday night reception was something I'd never experienced before at a smaller hotel. The king rooms are great for two people. If you have more than two, then you'll need a larger room.”

“Only downside was thin walls and loud neighbors. The hotel was super clean and beds were comfortable!”
