“Very nice! Staff extremely helpful. Breakfast very plain & towels are like sandpaper.”

“Even though it is the only option in Greensboro, the host went out of here way to help us feel welcomed.”

“Beautiful place. We stayed during Ironman 2026 and were there long enough to sleep. Wish we could have enjoyed just hanging out in this peaceful country home for a full day.”

“The property was clean, homey, cold and comfortable in this hot weather. The creek is beautiful! The Host was incredibly accommodating, even when my own guest left things messier than was requested. Tina was responsive and communicative, flexible and welcoming.”

“Allison and Chris we’re amazing hosts. Friendly and attentive. Provided us a lot of good suggestions for activities in history of the area. The dock and the river, where our absolute favorite spots. The sunsets were incredible.”

“Beautiful home. Plenty of space inside with great outdoor spaces. Very clean and easy to contact host. Family friendly-would highly recommend!”

“Such a cute house in a cute little town surrounded by corn fields! We ate fresh foods the whole time we were there! The neighbor even brought us fresh veggies right from his garden! The house was well stocked with all the necessities (toilet paper, towels, blankets, etc). We wanted for nothing!!I will caution you if you have issues with mobility as it is an older house with some quirks. My elderly in-laws stayed with us and I was worried that they would fall down the step into the bathroom in...

“Beautiful, huge property with very clean and well-equipped home. We brought our kayaks and paddled in the river two days. The campground on the property is absolutely perfect for anyone wanting to camp by the river and just use the house for showering and air conditioning. It’s also just a short drive to Denton for a nice restaurant. Highly recommend this lovely farmhouse.”

“The farmhouse was perfect for my two boys and me. The property was clean and well maintained. The hosts were great and even provided some freshly baked donuts that were delicious! Would 10/10 stay here again.”

“Clean & clutter-free home. Color scheme and furnishings were bright & cheery w/a beachy feel. Kitchen & pantry was stocked with all dishes/flatware/utensils/pots & pans/microwave/Keurig coffee maker, etc… and included an updated 3-door stainless steel fridge. Nice big Family Room included a big-screen TV (this was the only TV in the house) and kids’ play area. Full-size Washer/Dryer worked very well. Four bedrooms featured 3 double beds and 2 bunk beds (a King-size bed would’ve been nice in...

“This place is absolutely beautiful. So relaxing and management well let’s just say that they are the best people to be around. Looking forward to returning one day. Hated to leave”

“This is a lovely home. Rooms are large, high ceilings, and the layout is comfortable. The pool was great for the kids with a surround with plenty of room for chairs/sun umbrellas. The location on the river was beautiful and restful. There is a fire pit/patio overlooking the river that was greatly enjoyed in the evenings. The property borders a nice golf course, which several in our group took advantage of, and had a good time. Finally, the home has the needed kitchen tools, linens, etc. We...

“Our stay was much better than I was expecting! The area was very quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was your standard fare and everything clean.”

“I enjoyed my stay for two nights, My room was clean and comfortable and I loved the water pressure in my shower! The view of the water is so pretty and the staff is amazing😊 I especially want to recognize the sweet lady at the front desk! I believe her name is Charlene. She is so kind and extremely helpful!! I definitely will stay here again, when I come to visit my sister in Queenstown. Thank you for everything 😊”

“On our second night we were awakened at 2:00am with loud thumping noises and at 2:30am realized that the noises were not going to stop. We called the front desk and we were then moved at 3am to another room on a lower floor at the far end of the hotel. Staff person who moved us explained that the hotel has a very old boiler and at times it causes the plumbing to make those loud noises. In the new room it was quiet, but my bedside lamp did not turn on, the small hair dryer we used briefly got...

“This hotel was very well maintained and the room was very nice. The staff at the front desk were friendly, helpful, and very professional. The grounds were beautiful. Breakfast area as well stocked and maintained. The only suggestion I have is to remove the coffee maker listed on the room amenities on the website. The room does NOT have any coffee maker or supplies. There is a coffee maker available 24/7 with good coffee in the lobby. However, I prefer the coffee maker in the room. Otherwise,...
