“Had a great stay with my wife and toddler at the Lunar loft!”

“My husband and I stayed at this property for a wedding Memorial Day weekend. The place was comfortable cozy and close! We had an issue with the booking and day of the arrival that was dealt with promptly and professional with the owner. Communication was terrific to navigate this miscommunication and the owner made sure that we were able to attend all of the wedding events without compromise. He even offered to allowed us a late check out that was very helpful. I would highly recommend this...

“It was pet friendly and plus.”

“Grass and shrubbery immediately surround the structure was overgrown. Internet never worked, it actually never even came up to access on the wifi menus in our devices. When I brought to the owners attention was assured it was the correct info and that the internet it temporarily down. Again it never became accessible. ”

“We had a large group here for a large work event in town. The space was clean and had everything we needed to be able to focus on work. Thank you for providing a safe clean place for our work group to stay.”

“Very comfortable. Unusually well tooled kitchen for a rental. Don't have to be drinkers to enjoy.”

“A pet-friendly oasis in the clouds. This lovely appointed home was exactly the kind of quiet retreat we were seeking. So many features worthy of praise, from two wood-burning stoves, a unique and interesting curation of books, and a floor standing globe. Bonus: Numerous vineyards nearby worthy of visiting. The host was very gracious, helpful, and responsive.”

“The place was not clean. We saw bugs in the bathroom. There was dirt on the bed, stains on the comforter, dirt/crumbs on the rug, and random unknown items under the heater. Overall the place left much to be desired with the lack of cleanliness. Some of the furniture wasn't the same. We recommend staying here. We stayed for about an half an hour before leaving and returning home.”

“Peony Place is an excellent place to stay. The host has exceptional attention to detail and is a great communicator. The house is clean and well furnished . Kitchen is equipped to handle cooking a complete meal. A quiet comfortable space both inside and out. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are plenty of interesting places to see in the area and some quality restaurants too.”

“There was no running water after the first day of our stay; it was extremely inconvenient. the host was responsive enough in trying to help us through the issue and told us to use stored water cans in the house. But, it wasn't what we expected, and the amount of inconvenience it caused us was not worth the trouble for us. wouldn't revisit the property.”

“This is a gorgeous property in a beautiful part of Virginia. The house is fully equipped with anything you could need and the pool is a wonderful addition. Can’t say enough positive about it!”

“Beautiful property with a rich history”

“The charm of the property ends at the door unfortunately. We arrived just a few minutes before 3 pm but all the linen and towels were still wet (they had been cleaned but not dried). All of the furniture in the living room is old and tattered with one sofa leather ripped in several parts and a chair with foam popping out. Yes there is a fire pit and a BBQ (not gas). The place is quite overpriced for what it is. I would not book it again.”

“It was expensive but we booked during a holiday so that is to be expected during Fourth of July in LP, unfortunately. The property was in a great location.”
