“Staff was great and check in was easy. The cottages are very cute..but outdated! There were bugs flying into the room through the air vents. The bed felt comfy at first, but sagged towards my heavier partner. There was no microwave, and the mini fridge was very loud and made odd noises throughout the night. The toilet leaked a bit on our second night. Expect a very rustic feel in the National Park!”

“If you move in and find a lot of bugs, I have a good method to get rid of them without having to do it by hand. You can catch the bugs in the trash can and flush them down the toilet. But it's difficult to flush the bug corpses out of the room's toilet.”

“The cabin is cozy for one person and my dog appreciates the big yard! It’s a little further than I expected from Mammoth Cave but it’s Kentucky so the roads aren’t a straight shot. I love the area and I found some other areas to explore next trip. Cute decor and the washer and dryer and hot tub are nice additions.”

The property was well stocked (with many left behind items from other guests which I do not prefer, but it is not altogether uncommon at a rental). I must have missed in the property description that the only means of heat was a wood burning stove. This wasn’t a big issue as I grew up with one, but it had gone out before I realized that it was our heat source and I had to restart it and keep it stoked. Once we realized this there...
