“We spent a wonderful fall weekend. It was the middle of a three week, four state trip, and so it was perfect for what we wanted. A place to kick back, chill, do laundry, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. ”

“All the creature comforts of home. Donna greeted us at check in. Answered all our questions and gave us a tour of their cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the stars. The katydids were in full chorus throughout our stay.The entire cabin was clean, extra pillows &blankets, beach towels and anything we needed. The kitchen had beautiful cookware, adequate utensils, knives and dishes. A variety of herbs was available which is so nice to have at a VRBO. Everything was...

“Check in was easy, great communication, private setting with no noise from the outside world. Speakers on the pavilion sound great, the pond was relaxing and a great getaway oasis. It was fun watching the baby frogs hop around the shore. Kitchen was clean, fully stocked with all the amenities, lots of plates/utensils/serving platters/etc. Hot tub is spacious and the grill works well. Beds were comfortable. More than enough towels for showers/hot tub/swimming ”

“Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest...

“This rental is tucked away in a very small town surrounded by mountains and forest. Peaceful and secluded, but easy enough to travel to a larger town for supplies. The property itself has a strong feeling of a family cabin, which it is, so it's easy to feel right at home. This was our second stay, and very likely not our last. ”

“Pros: Easily walkable to restaurants, is one of the only places to stay in Northern VT/NH that doesn’t cost a fortune. Cons: Rooms are small and poorly constructed, floors were dirty, AC didn’t cool room. ”

“No privacy, cost was very close to local area motels but had zero bath facilities, tiny kit sink & outdoor 5-gal bucket for toilet ! Annoying exterior lights at dusk till mid-nite making trailer lit up & hard to sleep. Will not returm”

“Charming, secluded cottage situated directly on Lake Seymour. We especially enjoyed sitting on the lakeside front porch enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine at the end the day. So relaxing listening to the gentle lapping of the waves against the shoreline and the calls of the loons off in the distance. Our host, John, was friendly and helpful responding to any questions immediately. We definitely wish to return to this beautiful cottage.”
