“Poor”

“Our room we were supposed to have wasn’t the room we got upon check in.”

“Was a good stopping point for our trip from Michigan to Colorado. There are a few dining choices to the north of the hotel. We discovered the Pizza Ranch which is about 1 mile to the north. The morning breakfast is always a plus.”

“Overall, not bad for the price. But, the carpet in the handicapped accessible room was in horrible shape and we had to make sure we kept socks or flip flops on when walking on the horrible ancient carpet. I do think they were getting ready to replace it with wood lament.”

“This facility received low ratings for the following reasons: Our room wasn't cleaned when we checked-in (9pm), despite housekeeping saying it was. We were moved to another room, but had to go request bath towels because we had none. Bottom of stairwell reeked of cigarette smoke (as did a front desk staff). Room was nice. Bathroom could use a serious update (mold spot on ceiling from water damage). "Hot" tub was very cloudy & not at all hot. Room showers did not provide very hot water...

“I wanted to love this hotel so bad! I love adaptive reuse projects— such a cool building, but the experience was subpar due to cost saving compromises. I expect quirky/unique properties to have a few glitches, but this property had too many for the price tag. Here’s where this hotel scores low: -no restaurant on site, contrary to the Expedia listing. -no hot water in shower and “rain shower head” clogged. Low quality soap/lotion in random dollar store bottles. For comparison The Graduate...

“warped and dirty floor in the room and hallway. pool closed -- no water in pool. no breakfast available. hallways smelled of urine. musty smell in room. to tissues, no hand soap, no shampoo. outside door locks taken off. obviously an itinerant landing spot. would not recommend to anyone.”

“Excellent place to stay in Newton. In the same plaza as two bars/breweries, so there is plenty to do in the immediate walking distance”

“We had problems with unlocking the entry door on arrival but after repeated attempts to unlock it with the digital lock and being on the phone with the host we were able to get in with a back up key.”
