“Our stay was fine after some of the kinks re check-in were resolved. Our room was clean and serviceable. I think since last year the hotel is under new management. Thinks didn't seem quite up to par. However, we love the location in-town Newton. In easy walking distance to M&M bar and restaurant -- arrived for happy hour, great price on beers. If we go through Newton again, we'll probably give it another try.”

“Basic basic basic. Not even a soap holder in shower for the essentially useless soap you get which won’t suds. Towels threadbare. Breakfast minimal at best. El cheapo. Spend your money somewhere else”

“There could've been a better variety for breakfast. Also the bathtub was a little rusty but livable.”

“The front desk lady was lying on the couch in the lobby when we arrived. After we checked in, she mentioned that she had lots of sad kids staying at the hotel because someone had puked in the pool and it didn't matter how much bleach she dumped in there, she couldn't get it back to safe swimming levels. She mentioned she tried to get a hold of the hotel owner, but they were in Reno and she couldn't get hold of them. Also informed us that our keys might not work on the outside doors because the...

“We pulled up to the place, drove around to check it out and immediately left to find some place else to stay. This place did not feel safe it was an off the highway motel that was run down with no signage. ”
