“The place was beautiful, clean and comfortable. It is a hidden gem in the mountains.”

“The TV didn't work. There was a long sheet about how to get it working but who has that time? How about using the remote as usual? Every hotel should have blackout drapes but they did not. People moved into next room with a non-stop yipping dog. The stay overall was great but for price these issues need attention.”

“Paul was a great host. Showed us around the property and our room. Was very polite and welcoming. This is a very quite place and perfect for a couples get away. We had the tower room which has a whirl pool at the top. Me and my wife loved this place. The property has a gazebo, fire place and a small pond with waterfall. Wry relaxing”

“The Steamboat is a beautiful old home. Parking is onsite. The host, Carol, is very nice, and her breakfasts and table settings were delightful! The B&B is located on a hill close to Main Street, we walked to dinner one night.”

“Very clean room and beautiful bathroom in Roosevelt room.. the bed was a bit creaky. But everything else wonderful.”

“The elevator was broken and the room had no air conditioning however staff did not tell us this at check-in. We arrived back to our room at 11:30 PM to find it HOT! There was no one working over night so after repeated phone calls and wondering the front desk to get some help we packed up and left. It was awful!”

“Brian and David are the best friendliest host , they made us feel at home and loved their hospitality. They have maintained this property beautifully till the last corner of the home. We loved our room from hand painted walls to the canopy bed, with a view - brought out the southern charm of the property. The breakfast in a pretty English setup was my favorite. Thank you for serving us with delicious breakfast . We would love to revisit the next time we are in Galena!! ”
