“The place is a great place to stay needs some up keep to be done in the rooms; the shower rod looked like it was falling off and the door to the balcony felt like it was ready to come off the track. Other than that rooms were clean and place and staff were good to us.”

“Pull into parking lot, parked by woods. Woods filled with litter, very trashy. Interesting/ eclectic entrance with 3 classic cars. Must call a number to gain entry. Large, musty, dark room that must have been something in its day. Waited a bit, friendly woman comes to front desk, shows we to rooms. Rooms old and appears clean but the smell of mold/ mildew was atrong. Chose a rooms, checked bed for bugs, found none. Patio littered with cigarette butts. Went out to dinner, decided not to return...

“This was my second time staying here and it’s a pretty good stay. The only problem we had was the AC wasn’t cold enough but that’s a minor issue. Other than that the room was good. It was clean and smelled clean. Bathroom was clean. There was a break in the base of the tub like standing I could feel a huge crack which was covered with a white mat but it didn’t affect us. I would stay again if I’m in the poconos area.”

“The hotel was exceptional. They have taken a historic property and modified to meet contemporary demands all while maintaining the historic provenance. The grounds were equally exceptionally maintained and the various recreational and educational opportunities were great. But perhaps the greatest strength of the facility are its people. In particular I provide my highest commendation to Jessica, Gino, Anthony, Patty and Claire. There are no finer reprentatives than these people. One...
