“This property has had a bad reputation in the past, but it has now been renovated. The king bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean but sloppy caulking in the bathroom makes the floor around the toilet look dirty but it is not dirty. The shower was fine with a good shower head and hot water. “The property is just as described, and looks just like the pictures. Home was clean and cozy. I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures! You cannot beat this affordable price. Our host Dawn ensured everything was perfect for our stay. We had absolutely no issues. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Water was hot and pressure was good. “We had so much fun at this house. Probably one of our best vacations! The house was perfect for our needs. It has a shallow area great for kids but also deep enough at the dock to jump in. The shallow swimming area is shaded in the afternoon which saved us (heatwave that week). The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked there most nights. We even caught some decent size fish from the dock. We truly had a great time!”

“Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay, the home was perfect! Tied our 20’ boat up to the dock, great water access to fish, and the screened porch allowed us to still be outside regardless of the heavy thunderstorms during our stay. Will definitely be bringing the whole family down mext time to enjoy this property!”

“We had a blast here at lake Gaston. Our family of 25-31 people get together every 2 years and this location fit us perfectly. Plenty of room to spread out into separate groups while also having room to all come together nightly for games and chatting.”

“Large bedrooms with king beds, nice walk in shower in the main en suite bath.Plenty of room for two families of 4. The kitchen is well appointed and perhaps a little small, but pretty workable for a short term rental. We did not swim, but the dock offers afternoon shade and a nice place to enjoy the lake view. ”
