“Although the hotel is above an isolated small local town, the walking areas around the lake are gorgeous and peaceful. The staff members are so very considerate to shuttle and pick up anywhere and anytime. They refer to you by name which makes one feel so cared for and appreciated. I consider this as very close to being one of my best hotel experiences.”

“This is a gem of a hotel. Located on the edge of the lake with an amazing view. The hotel has a genuine Japanese vibe. The rooms have baths with hot spring water. The hotel staff have variable english skills but they are very helpful. The nearby village has lots of great restaurants. 30 minute drive to Rusutsu.”
