“The host greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our space. That evening there was a cockroach in the kitchen area that went under the cabinets. The next evening the cockroach was going along the wall near the ceiling around the room. I made the host aware and never received a response. When walking outside and to the vehicle, be aware of spider webs between the trees. There are quite a few eye level that we had to duck and dodge to not hit. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! This cottage is cozy and comfy, providing everything we needed for a great visit. It’s in a quiet neighborhood close to Waimea but also close to the beach. We enjoyed watching the birds and the amazing views of Mauna Kea. It’s clean and well kept. We did find some ants in the kitchen but the owners responded right away to take care of the problem. “This place was amazing! So clean and SO creative. Lots of cute frog-themed touches. They definitely put heart in to developing this oasis. Definitely arrive in the afternoon if possible so you can enjoy the property. The waterfalls and creeks are gorgeous! Be sure to eat before you arrive or bring food, as nearby options are limited. We are SO happy that we stayed here. Xoxo ”
