“My wife and I stayed at the Joy of Life Villa during Christmas week. We were looking for a relaxing and private stay. This villa was better than what we imagined! We woke up early for every sunrise with some fresh brewed coffee. This Villa had everything we needed including beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear, and a cooler which came in very handy. There's even a grill which we really enjoyed using. Karen was a great host and made sure we were settled and had everything we needed. We are so happy...

The hosts were absolutely amazing, so personable and attentive, greeted us upon arrival with homemade cookies! The hermit crab sanctuary was a great bonus. We could not have asked for a better location for our St. Croix vacation. Highly recommend! 12 out of 10 stars!!!”

“Very special and sweet retreat. We had a lot of fun. The teahouse itself is so well crafted! we loved the view, outdoor shower and outdoor kitchen. We made dinner 5 out of 7 evenings and had breakfast several days. First visit to St. John, was not prepared for the drive up the hill to the property. We got use to it quickly, but it is a steep climb. Driving on the entire island is a challenge but worth it and kind of fun! Thanks for the beach gear and cooking supplies. On site manager was awesome...

The location is conveniently close to many restaurants and beaches on the island and provided easy access for excursions. The views from the deck and bedroom were even better in person than in the photos. The hosts were also very helpful and provided plenty of detail in addition to maintaining welcoming accommodations. ”
