“Location ok, walking distance from black sand beach, not too far from the volcano. Is more an hotel apartment vs hotel. No services for breakfast, dinner, food, supermarket is 20min driving, reception close at 5pm We asked for a sea view room, but, we got a room in a very bad position.”

Le camere sono accoglienti anche se vista la posizione c'è mota umiditià, ma il posto ricompensa del disagio. ”

“This is a very nice lodge with a great history. The room was spacious and we really enjoyed the hot tub and the nature trail. My only complaint is with the people in the room beneath us as we heard them talking well past the quiet hour of 10:00 pm. As the inn has no night manager, I was required to deal with it myself by talking to them directly. Not sure if the insulation between the rooms is adequate. We did hear other neighbors as well but they respected the quiet hours. ”

“Nice rustic place. We normally stay in 4 and 5 * hotels and this was not that but it was a cool little spot for what the town is. It’s remote with not a lot of choices. The room was clean and if we can’t get a room in the park again when we’re there next, we will try to stay here again. ”

“This lovely secluded rain forest cabin is wonderfully private, very close to the park, and the owners are extremely responsive (by text). They provide coffee and bottled water (although the filtered rain water is fine too). Note that it’s a pretty big place so takes a bit to warm up on cold wet days, but worth it!”

“Less than 10 minutes from the park and felt like we were in the middle of the rain forest! Loved it!”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was so cool. It felt like we were staying in a treehouse in the jungle! The provided breakfast was good along with the other snacks in the common area. Very cool experience!”

“What a wonderful place to stay. These yurts are easily the best-appointed VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. The little touches to make it comfortable and help out if you forgot something are great! The yurts are very clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful from start to finish. He even gave us a calendar of Hawaii as a parting gift. Really great place. I highly recommend it!”

“posizione fantastica per visitare volcano national park e non solo. Piccolo appartamento silenzioso fornito di tutto il necessario. Sembra di essere persi nella giungla, c'è un giardino bellissimo ma si trova a pochi minuti dal centro di volcano e dal parco nazionale. Jim é gentile disponibile e risponde in tempi brevi e vive nella stessa casa. Viaggiando da sola un bel plus. Ottimo soggiorno. Sarebbe bello tornare!”
