“We liked the enormous size of our room. Also, the room was very quiet as the street was quiet at night. The white sheets were nice. The thick white towels were lovely. There was no extractor fan or openable window in the bathroom so the shower steam (and other more unpleasant vapours) were trapped in the bathroom and therefore in the entire room. This is a major oversight in design. A second problem was that the iron was full of water and when I tried to wash it out it repeatedly, it kept...

“Small bed room- bathroom sub par for the price, however cleaned well. Obviously new management/owners have spent money on painting the inside and new fixings-”

“A beautiful period alternative to bland motels. Super nice owner, lovely large room, just around the corner from the main street and all the shops and cafes, a real coffee pod machine, great shower - what's not to like. Pay the little extra and have a great stay in the wonderful town of Yass!”

“I’m”

“Our stay was fantastic, as we had all we needed in the lakefront cabin. This park is highly recommended if you look for peaceful places with great scenery.”

“The location was far enough from the CBD to be quiet, but still an easy walk in—the best hotel shower ever.”

“Great and very helpful with late arrival, kindly left the heating on. Good communication.”

“The air con could not keep room warm enough at night. Mould in the bathroom, doors would jam, cupboards are falling apart, etc. Barely 2 star accommodation. In major need of upgrades and maintenance.”

“The three bedroom apartment was great. Only one bathroom though, and a tiny table that sits only 4. Worked great for us though.”

“Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great.”

“Made to feel so welcome, very thoughtful host with quality inclusions highly recommended”

“The location is really nice, great view and being on a farm. I normally don’t leave bad reviews, especially when the host has been friendly. To be honest, the stay wasn’t great mainly due to cleanliness and basic setup. It feels like the cleaning and preparation aren’t properly checked. Not sure if this is run by a third party, but if so, the cleaner didn’t do the job properly. When we arrived, 1. most bathroom items like hand wash and body wash were empty with only a bit of shampoo left, 2....

“the motel is an old heritage build with a good atmosphere. the rooms were neat and tidy. the food was really great, but there was no breakfast service, but overall, a great stay. ”

“Beautiful and well maintained property to stay with a group of friends, enjoy nature and tranquility. ”
