“The hotel construction started in 1907, and opened in 1908, so there is a lot of history behind the building. I liked the architecture of the hotel. My fiancé's sister was with us to take a look at the room. She is 82 and in a wheelchair, but there were ADA accommodations for her. She did not stay with us in the room. Some complained the rooms were musty, but I didn't experience that. I only stayed for one night and I would stay there again.”

“The floor was sticky and the refrigerator stunk. Staff and lady doing breakfast was very helpful and nice. The air-conditioning was not working properly. I have always stayed here and it was great. Not this time. I think they had all new staff.”

“Needed a room after booking 2 others and no rooms available. Quiet, clean enough and slept well.”

“We got a suite and it was beautiful. We didn't know the fridge was gonna be a full size that was a nice surprise. And the kitchen sinks bigger then mine. Plenty of room for the 5 of us (nephews staying for the summer). Only con was the bathroom has a barn door style and we would of liked a little more privacy. But the room divider curtain was a nice touch.”

“This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel looks nothing like the photos advertised online. There is no real lobby as shown in the pictures. Check-in is done through a glass window, similar to a basic roadside motel. When I entered my room, I immediately noticed that the bed sheets were dirty and stained. I contacted the front desk and requested clean sheets, but the staff refused, saying they were busy and that because the hotel was full, they had no extra clean...
