“This hotel services a small country village somewhat off the beaten path and as such does not have all the facilities of a major hotel. There are just a handful of guest rooms, all on a second floor walk up with no lobby. Check-in is done automatically/remotely. Still, it is a very serviceable and pleasant location to stay at when visiting the immediate area. The only request we would make would be to add a blow dryer to the bathroom amenities.”

“We had a wonderful time, the host was very helpful and friendly. The view of the Lake was beautiful and the many visits to the Golden State Park and Marina were enjoyed by myself and the dogs. We also visited the Yates Town Park which was just down the road a short drive. My husband and son went fishing and came back to a warm and cozy cottage! We loved it!!!”

“This property was amazing! Super clean and had everything we needed! Host was amazing and went above and beyond to get us lighting on the first night power outage! Kids brought us over some sparklers for our children, soooo nice of them! They gave us info on good places to see the fireworks and festivities of the weekend! Definitely a very comfy homey environment! Highly recommend this comfy cabin!”

“Met or even exceed my family's expectations to say the very least. Hav been going to NY from NC every year to a lake cottage since 1995 and this was the best one yet for families. All our friends & family that still live there wanted the info for this place in fact. Very well stocked with every day things from the start, didn't have to make an emergency run to the store. Thank you for the memories.... and don't bring your own games with you. Plenty of them there for all ages !”

“I don't know how this hotel is still in business!! Had to get help getting into room because key card was not working properly. No remote for TV. Toilet wouldn't flush. Ceiling fan in bathroom half falling out of ceiling. Air con unit was filthy. Closet wouldn't open. Drapes were half torn off and filthy. Was put on third floor and got up there on the 1 working elevator but there were no working elevators in the morning to get our stuff down. Ironically, there was a sticker on mirror that said...
