“The staff was friendly. They put us in a regular room when i booked a suite. There were lights out. We got dog hair on our belongings from not being vacuumed well and ants in the bathroom. ”

“The room was smaller than expected but fortunately we were only staying one night. The room didn’t seem to have enough insulation and it was a cold, windy night when we arrived. The heating system worked great but the bathroom remained cold even with the door left open. It was easy to complete the check-in process and receive our door code. The only suggestions I would make is for more areas in the bathroom for supplies, maybe a small shelf and more drinking cups, only 2 were provided.”

“Parking was right next to the room. The parking lot was well lit. The room was super clean & the beds were comfortable. Check in was very easy. I would definitely stay again & recommend. ”

“Rooms are specious clean and kitchen is good. Do not expect any assistance from the staff, they don’t even pick up calls. I was told that if I needed fresh towels, I had to carry the used ones to the front desk myself. Housekeeping was only offered once during a 7-day stay, and that too only after I asked. There were also numerous instructions about disposing of our own trash.”

“The water in the shower wouldn't go down and they gave us a plunge to get the water out; it wasn't even them to do it. The toilet had dry blood on it. The bed sheets weren't clean. It was terrible. The staff tried to help but they said that the house cleaning is only there every other day”

“The Dartmouth House Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The room was spotless and cozy along with the common areas. The bed was ultra comfy and breakfast was included too. Milena and Gary were fantastic, they made you feel right at home. We stood in the Honeye room on the 3rd floor. This room includes off street parking which is a plus in this neighborhood. Rochester has a unique parking rule where vehicles need to be moved to the otherside of the street after a certain time. That said, I do...

“Room was very clean, and staff was excellent. My only complaint would be the grounds around the hotel is very dirty with trash everywhere. We had two dogs with us, and to walk them was challenging due to litter everywhere. Everything else was perfect. ”

“Only stayed at the property for one night. Everything was perfect, breakfast was good,etc. Will definitely stay at the property again soon.”

“The night manager was wonderful and very responsive. She personally came to remedy the problem. Here is what happened...We checked in late to our room and unfortunately, housekeeping didn't clean our room. When my son was getting ready to go to sleep, he noticed the sheets were soiled. We also noticed that used towels were still hanging from the hooks.”

“There was no coffee pot or kitchen ware, house keeping never came ”

“ Clean, comfortable room. Nice pool and hot tub, which we took advantage of several times. Nice breakfast. 5 minutes from SUNY Brockport and very convenient for taking a campus tour. ”

“Bathroom floor needed cleaning. And bed was horribly uncomfortable.. was given a handicap room.. and bed seemed to be to accommodate that. Lower on one side and horribly uncomfortable.. staff did offer to change room but wasn’t able as affair we were there for would have been missed.. Why put someone in a room like that if you had other rooms to begin with.. have stayed here before but will not again.. For the price room should be clean too”
