It was 30-degree heat outside, and not one window had been left open to help ventilate or keep the room cool. We had to open our main door to try and let some air enter the room as it was absolutely unbearable to stay in there. Then it was time for a shower. “We had an excellent stay at The Fawley Guest House. Our room was large and well equipped, the breakfasts were very nice and the landlady Mellissa very helpful - she sorted out our ferry crossing from and back to Portsmouth for us. The house is quite old and needs some redecoration but that is in hand. W wish them every success.”
