“I called just to confirm that we would be able to go to the office to collect the keys on Sunday and that the office would definitely be open , even had an email confirming this but this was not the case - luckily for us someone in the office was able to call us to confirm the process that we had to take to collect the keys , just as well that we had a signal where we were on the time of the call !! “We enjoyed our week staying at Pipers, which is in a delightful and peaceful setting and furnished with taste and quality. It is well placed to visit the South Hams district: Salcombe, Kingsbridge, Dartmouth plus all the surrounding coastline. You definitely need a car to make the most of the location and be prepared to reverse very frequently in the narrow lanes. The owners kept good contact but were not intrusive. ”
