“We had another apartment booked, but 4 days before our holiday it became unavailable due to maintenance issues so we had alternative accommodation offered. On arrival there was beer bottles and rubbish all over the car park entrance. For 3 people in 2 bedrooms we had 1 coat hanger, we had iron but not ironing board, not hot water between 6pm and 8pm sometimes up to 9pm (probably used out by others in the building). “entrance hall was a bit of a letdown as obviously was being painted, the glass in the doors had paint on, windows rattled all night from the wind, very cold on last night as couldnt work out how to turn up heaters, coupboard door in kitchen came off, only 3 mugs & 4 of us, shower was very slow & leaked over bath, no-one told us upstairs shower was out of order & they had a leak in the lounge, shower upstairs was out of order”

“The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”

“We had a great stay. All communication from the hosts was detailed and clear. This was very much appreciated. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable, perfect to our needs. We love Weymouth and found the location of this great for all we needed to do. ”
