“Hotel fantastico e perfetto per un soggiorno nel cuore di Gaslamp. Location migliore nel quale soggiornare, si può inoltre godere di un bellissimo rooftop. Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Lo Starbucks interno un valore aggiunto! Migliore scelta non avremmo potuto farla.

“We had an amazing time on our honeymoon staying at Kasa Gaslamp! We highly recommend to anyone visiting downtown San Diego.
Transit to places like LaJolla, the beaches, Balboa Park and the Zoo were very accessible.
Our room was extremely quiet (weekdays and weeknights). Our room had a full kitchen and the bed was so comfortable!
The communication was great and check-in codes/instructions were so simple.

“La sporcizia dei bagni è indescrivibile e gli spazi tutti comuni da film horror ho passato la prima notte per forza essendo arrivato a tarda sera ma la notte successiva l avevo già pagata ma me ne sono andato senza passare neache un minuto dopo essermi svegliato. Ho perso anche le colazioni ma penso di aver fatto bene.”

However, inside the rooms are renovated clen and modern. They have a fridge, a coffee maker, a microwave, and a tv with streaming services, so it’s cozy enough to kick it in.

“Sono stato tre volte al Windham Bayside. Sempre nella Torre II e ai piani alti. Questa volta sono stato nella Torre III al secondo piano, affacciato sul parcheggio. Ho trovato la torre più vecchiotta, e la vista sul parcheggio non delle migliori. Dovessi tornare, chiederei di stare nella torre principale. In ogni caso si tratta di un buon hotel, e le camere sono molto spaziose. Ottimo avere sue ristoranti a disposizione, e molti altri nelle vicinanze (per esempio in Little Italy).”

Il resto tutto discutibile: Pochissimi materiali da bagno, rumorosissima la stanza tra il traffico e i climatizzatori, colazione inesistente come inesistente era lo sconto proclamato nel vicino ristorante “convenzionato”. Insomma non è assolutamente un plus ma un hotel di base , quindi rapporto qualità/prezzo decisamente eccessivo per il posto.”

Per avere un po' di acqua tiepida devi fare delle combinazinazioni con i rubinetti, assurdo e l acqua fredda è impossibile da ottenere.
Zona piscina: tutte le sedute (sdraio inesistenti) sono come dei piccoli letti tutti consumati e sfondati.
Mi aspettavo sicuramente di più.”

Easy access to pool and hot tub. Easy access to both car and the cove. You will avoid the many stairs situation if you get a parking pass prior to unpacking-avoid the temptation of free parking unless you don’t mind a steep walk with your luggage. Will come back, it was more fun than we thought it would be! ”

“We flew an out-of-town staff member up for our 2026 planning event. We wanted some place that was safe, convenient, a lovely setting to go walking and this fit the bill without breaking the bank. The staff were great and it was just a wonderful experience. We will do this again!”

"Let's start with the people at the reception... They were amazing. My room was big clean and comfortable. Unfortunately it is possible to hear the noise from the highway. Right in front of the hotel in a surrounded are there are homles camping. But was safe to walk around. "
"The hotel was comfortable and the staff was very helpful and professional, also giving information about the city and shops where I had to buy some facilities.
Just a small issue to be improved: the ventilator in the toilet worked 24/7: it makes no sense and a huge waste of energy (just multiply it for all the rooms): please address this tip to the hotel as a suggestion. Opinion very good on the whole. Thanks, Francesco Bonini"
"As in the previous times in which we have been guests of the structure everything was comfortable, a structure that would need some modernization but absolutely comfortable and well maintained... we will return again when we are in San Diego again."
