“Good hotel, very reasonably priced, close to the university of Manitoba and Superstore. To improve: blinds are definitely not blackout, which is challenging in spring when the sun is up early, and when your window faces the parking lot with extremely bright floodlights. Unfortunately it was raining two nights and there was a dripping sound outside the window that was so loud it sounded like someone was popping microwave popcorn in the next room. “My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Stay549. It feels like home! Val was super nice and friendly when she checked us in. Everybody there was very helpful. When the coffee machine broke, they quickly replaced with a brand new one. Thank you…my husband and I need our coffee to start the day 😁 We will definitely come back when we are heading back West.”

Entire place smelt like smoke, hot tub had hair and clumps of something floating around, pool water was very low and stains all over the hallway carpets. Felt like an incredibly unsafe area especially for a solo traveller as evidenced by the drug users coming into the hotel lobby to use the ATM. “Breakfast” option, was very disappointing.
