“Wonderful place, and so welcoming. Clean, ready with everything, private and cozy. We wanted a quick escape from city life, and we ended up watching the sunrise from the window over the Old Man river. Gorgeous!! Will definitely come back.”

“It is an older property, but on the Tuesday we stayed, it was quiet, clean and fine for a one night stay. Check in was easy and t.he gentleman who checked us in was polite and friendly.”

“Very basic hotel. There was never anyone at the front desk. Coming and going, I never saw a staff member at the front desk except when I rang the bell when I checked in. Pillows on the bed were so deflated, so I asked housekeeping for an extra pillow or 2. After being told they would replace the pillows on day 2 of my 7 night stay, the pillows were never replaced or offered an extra. I ended up taking a pillow from a sofa in the lobby. “This was a Super 8 that is now converting to a Best Western. The staff was great, but the facility is not yet at Best Western standards. I would not stay here again until the operating standards are raised to the new higher BW rates.”

“Not too much to choose from in the small town of Fort MacLeod. Red Coat Inn certainly seemed the better of choices. A bit dated and a tad rundown it was clean and convenient. Office were helpful and on-site parking was free. The Fort is well worth a visit.”
