Hotel a Dollar Corner

“Property clean. Staff nice, especially Don in the lounge/bar. He gives fantastic friendly service. Our only complaints were the air conditioning in the room was so loud, hard to sleep. TV in old and controls not real intuitive needs updating for both. Being there on a Saturday it was disappointing the restaurant/bar not open until 5PM. We had to walk to a neighborhood hotel close (Sheraton) that had restaurant and bar open all day. The free drink ticket and snacks at happy hour for guests that...

“I was pleasantly surprised. For the price the hotel and amenities were good. The hot breakfast was good. The landscaping could use some attention. What stood out the most was the staff. Almost every one of them that I encountered were wonderful. They all acted like they enjoyed working there. The housekeeping staff and daytime front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast lady was exceptional. She offered to heat up more gravy for us just minutes before breakfast service was done....

The pillows were a bit too soft. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. We will stay here again.”

She said because of the holiday they couldn’t guarantee an early check in but said we could check when we were close and if there was a room ready we could check in then. “Staff was super helpful; I arrived hours before check-in, and they let me store my baggage at the front desk. Room was clean and A/C was great, there were a couple of spots in the bathroom that seemed a little run down, but just normal wear and tear.”
