“This could have been a 3 star review, BUT.... The hotel, restaurant and marina bar are something out of the past, harking back to the golden age of tiki themed resorts. Our assigned room was nice but the air conditioning was dated and the room wouldn't cool at all. A call to the front desk, and we were upgraded to a recently remodeled room with cold cold air and a complimentary drink. We loved our stay!! My compliments to the wonderful and accommodating staff. We will definitely return!!”

“The room was clean and cozy. Everything you would need is avaliable in the room, but if you wanted something extra you're just a walk away from grocery stores and restaurants. ”

“Everything was great except I took a bad fall walking down the steep stairs at night and didn’t see the last step so it would have been good for the stairs to have some sort of lighting right on the steps or at the bottom to prevent falls”

“Central location with easy access to restaurants and shops. Parking is a few blocks away, so it’s not ideal. There is a lot next to the hotel where patrons can unload their luggage. Our 3rd-floor room was very nice, but we kept banging our heads into the slanted walls b/c we are tall. We were glad for the elevator! Staff were great and welcoming. Very responsive to a request we had to check a wobbly toilet. (They tightened the bolts.) Coffee and tea stations on every floor, and glass jars filled...

“Remote check-in was efficient. Responds quickly to text. This is an older property but has been maintained. Room was small but fine for solo traveler. Walkable to lots of good restaurants. There is road noise as it's located on A1A however I'd say the loud motorcycles from Daytona Bike week increased the noise level. Room was clean. The flat sheet is old and was "rough" from peeling. Overall, room was a good value and I'd stay here again. ”

“Well. Next time I look at reviews of a property I will go much deeper than the first ten. It’s like this was an abandoned building project turned into 10 bedrooms. The smell of cleaning chemicals is overwhelming on entry by keypad sent after you upload your license. Pool is a plunge pool. Sandy beach is a mile down the road. The common area is uncommonly uncomfortable. AC is controlled remotely despite instructions telling you to set at your desired temperature. Over a 15 hour period the...
