“My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. ”

“This place was in a quaint location. Super quiet and close to the beach. Very clean and spacious. Very well maintained and overall amazing. Kitchen was very well equipped! Manager was so nice and welcoming. There’s even a store a couple min walk away for groceries. Bus stop was a short walk also and a short commute into downtown Edinburgh. ”

“We were wonderfully surprised at the bedroom size and spaciousness of this Edinburgh flat. I think it has been completely renovated recently, and it stunning. Also immaculately clean. It is within a 15 minute walk to most Edinburgh attractions, with a bus stop right outside the door, and a small grocery across the street. There is also a small grassy, fenced backyard which is a nice plus. One note for Americans, there is no dryer which seems standard in the UK. There were plenty of drying...

“The apartment was great. We loved the location. It is within walking distance of most of the main sites and train station. The hosts were great and we had a nice welcome basket. Would definitely stay there again if we return to Edinburgh”

“With a “Red Weather” warning in place we were not able to travel to this accommodation, so this review isn’t about the accommodation, it’s more about the booking and cancellation.We contacting the management company the day of Storm Éowyn (our check in date) to explain that based on police advice we could not drive/fly to the accommodation, they refused to look at any alternatives and simply told us it was our problem! So they took our money and left us high and dry with no consideration or...

“Property was old and dirty the house was a stink. The room was a very smoky of food they were no splendid and full of humans here, The floor was a sticky. I didn’t feel safe because there was a two German Shepherd dog inside the house. I had to ask if it’s okay to get out of the room. I only stayed for one night and I paid for 3 nights.that wasn’t fair.”

“We loved the beautiful home. It was decorated with lovely antiques. All the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and we were happy to use it. Agnes met us and allowed us to check in a few hours early because our flight was before the normal check in time. She gave us advice that was very helpful. We were surprised at the perfect location a short walk from the royal mile, near restaurant options. We didn't need a car for the first two days, but rented one for the third day...

“Beautiful and spacious home with lots of room for our family to spread out. The back garden is lovely. We had so much fun making pizzas in the pizza oven. Perfect location. Paul, the owner, was such a delight! ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gillespie house; the location was excellent, and the bed and living area were very comfortable. We walked almost everywhere around Edinburgh from the Gillespie house, making it so convenient. It was about 30 minutes to the center of town, but many great shops and restaurants were even closer. "ormai è la quinta volta che soggiorno in questo hotel, lo preferisco agli altri per la comodità di averlo vicino all'aeroporto. la struttura è moderna e ben curata ,il personale è sempre disponibile.. per chi come me che fa soggiorni brevi e magari arriva tardi alla sera,o parte presto al mattino è l'ideale...5 minuti a piedi e sei in aeroporto. sempre a 5 minuti dall'hotel ci sono sia il bus airlink 100 che il tram che collega l'aeroporto al centro. top non per ultimo la colazione compresa nel prezzo del soggiorno...buona, abbondante accontenta tutti,anche i vegani"
