Hotel a Fairgrove

“Rarely does one feel they have been welcomed as if they had "come home" to a hotel or Bed & Breakfast. I have stayed in a few grander historic hotels, but never felt so at home as when my son and I stayed a few mights at The Montague Inn. It is a lovely, beautifully maintained mansion from the 1930s, almost immaculately clean, with charming and comfortable guest rooms, sitting areas, patios and gardens. “We had a terrible night. Someone in the room on top of us. I am not sure what they were doing. It sounded like someone was tied up. I reported it twice to the attendant. It happened all night. It gave me chills to think it might have been a child..”

“We stayed in a king bed room. The room and bathroom were very clean. The room had been updated. Light walls and new furniture, curtains and bedding, sink and vanity. Plenty of outlets and USB ports on both sides of the bed. Had a table and 2 chairs and a refrigerator/freezer which appeared new as well. Breakfast was available in the office in the am. Good variety of choices including fruit. Would definitely recommend!”

“I was not expecting a motel. Bed was comfortable, bathroom tight. Hotel in front gives different vibe. Americinn is main hotel where ice machine is, breakfast & pool. If I knew I would have booked there. Poor signage, entry off main road is steep. Each building needs an ice machine. We have a hard time walking. Had to drive to get ice. Didn't use pool. Breakfast was ok. No coffee today, they were out of it bed never made.”

“My husband booked this motel for us for Valentine's Day. It was $180 for one night for the room with the jetted tub. When we pulled up, it looked a little rough, but we only care about the inside anyway. It was advertised as a queen bed, and it was a full bed. We were only staying for 1 night so we honestly didn't feel like taking time out of our plans to go to the office and complain about any of this, so I will say we did not give them a chance to fix it. ”

“L'hotel, facile da trovare, lascia a desiderare per quanto riguarda la pulizia degli spazi comuni: la hall è maleodorante e bisogna sottolineare che è il luogo dove consumare la colazione (un pò contenuta rispetto agli standard degli altri hotel frequentati nel nostro viaggio negli USA) !!! L'hotel è in parziale ristrutturazione, ma la camera era assolutamente pulita e confortevole. L'accoglienza è stata ottima e professionale.”
