“Fast and friendly check in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. An older hotel but seems to be kept up. Breakfast is just muffins and coffee is around the clock. Cameras everywhere which made me feel safe. The only downfall was the pool not being available. ”

“The room was spacious and clean; staff was very nice and walked us straight to our room. Staff also provided recommendations for breakfast, since the restaurant was closed.”

“This place is a GEM. The staff was so friendly. The rooms are super cute and historic. Everything is within walking distance and you can't beat the view of mountains in the background. Their restaurant was closed as they are getting ready to renovate the entire property. Nice little bar with anything you want really. The front and back porches are so nice to sit and enjoy a cool evening. We will for sure be back after the renovations! ”

“My husband and I have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It is always clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast is excellent. Today they served fluffy scrambled eggs, link sausages, biscuits, and gravy. Cereals, grits, toast, bagels, yogurt, and make-your-own mini waffles were also available. This is our go-to hotel when we visit the Asheville area. We will be back. Thanks to all the staff. Keep up the good work and cheerful, helpful attitudes.”

Parking was plentiful. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Free breakfast was good. Housekeeping staff were also very good.
