“All Staff members were fabulous. They could have not been any more helpful and accommodating to we stranded travelers during a blizzard, missed flights, and cancelled cruise. Special mention of Gabriel on the front desk. Also, the lovely cleaning lady on Floor 5, she was so sweet. The Manager was very helpful too. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be booking this Hotel when visiting St. John's again. Our thanks to all staff.”

“Whole experience was awesome. The little extras are what separates a good hotel and an excellent hotel. Had to get shuttle at 3:30 am to go to airport. They gave us a bagged snack to take for our breakfast and 2 bottles of water upon check in. First time experiencing this in a Newfoundland Airport hotel. Bravo…”

“The Monastery hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and cozy. The electric fireplace was on and the room was nice and warm which was appreciated on a snowy night! The spa tub was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast at the Monastery Bistro was delicious. ”

“it is close to teh center but in a more relaxed area so it is fine. The perhaps only inconvenience is that they are just in front of the supply vessels going to the oil platforms”

“Easy to find. Ultra easy check-in process. Hosts and Staff were very personable and professional. Lovely old character hotel, on a historic street. The King Suite I booked had tons of old style charm, big huge bed; and the amenities of a modern bathroom, Cable TV (Olympics), heating, medium size refrigerator, coffee making and excellent security. Very classy Restaurant right down stairs. And the best pub in town right next door. Many stores, shops and restaurants/bars nearby. Super...
