“During my road-trip planning, I found the Old Carrabelle Hotel and was immediately intrigued by its old nostalgic charm. When I arrived, the hotel was easy to find and parking was right in front. It was a self check in process (so check your email upon arrival for instructions). It's an old bed and breakfast in so you are assigned a room and room key (I was in the Hemingway room). “I booked a one night stay and requested a late check-out during check-in. The receptionist advised that the latest available check-out time was 12:00pm, which was perfectly acceptable. Unfortunately, there appeared to be a gap in communication regarding that request. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 8:30am. Then, at approximately 11:10am, a different housekeeper unlocked and entered my room without knocking. When I informed them that I had an approved late check-out, they stated they had not...

“Nicest hotel for the price I have ever stayed. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating! They even had a supper buffet on top of an excellent breakfast buffet. The walk in shower was so nice and large. Excellent room, everything new and updated! I will stay again!”

Non sono contenta della poca disponibilità e non conoscenza del problema della celiachia del ragazzo del buffet, il quale mi ha liquidato dicendo che fosse una sua scelta la non presenza del pane senza glutine e facendo un elenco di prodotti assenti come il latte di soia. Come se la celiachia fosse una scelta. Peccato.”
