“Very comfortable and welcoming place! A real hidden gem not too far away from the city. The house and property and gorgeous, the breakfast is big and delicious, and the programs that they run are great. I attended a Reiki circle that I found very helpful and relaxing. The shiatsu massage chairs are also excellent. I would return and I will recommend Rising Star!”

“Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.”

“Everything was good, but because of an outage by Rogers, there wasn't any TV to watch. I realize it was beyond the control of the hotel, but I asked for a discount in place of the problem with the TV and they reduced my bill by 10% I was satisfied with the trade off. I really liked the availability of fresh coffee in the lobby available at any time.”
