“Carol and Ceri looked after us very well, beginning with their greeting us at the front door on our arrival. The bed was comfortable and all room facilities excellent (lovely soft towels), except that the bedside lights are not bright enough for old eyes to read by. Breakfasts, prepared by Ceri, were top class; we really looked forward to coming downstairs each morning at 8.30. It was good to be made to feel part of the family, especially as we were able to chat to other guests at the breakfast...

“Saban and Belinda were great hosts. They were very accommodating and paused their laundry so i could do mine between the two different legs of my trip. I neeed to make sure i had enough clean laundry as i would not have access ta any laundry facilities for the next 12 days.

“Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. “It was very convenient for chapel down wines where we had arranged a tasting and dinner. Parking was good.
The staff at the hotel were great.
We ate lunch there one day and dinner one night the food was very good and reasonable.
The cooked breakfast was excellent. My only criticism was the coffee there was only filter coffee available.”

"La struttura è moderna, pulita e accogliente. Le camere spaziose e pulite e complete di tutto il necessario.
L'hotel dispone che di un ristorante e di un pub. Noi non li abbiamo provati ma erano frequentati penso anche da persone esterne all'hotel e quindi credo la qualità sia buona.
Ci sono anche palestra e piscina che noi non abbiamo provato.
Da considerare, prima di prenotare, il costo del treno dall'hotel a Londra che non è esiguo. Ma forse prenotando per tempo costano un pochino meno.
La fermata del bus per raggiungere l'aeroporto e la stazione a 5 min di camminata dall'hotel
La posizione purtroppo non è comodissima. E' vicino all'aeroporto ma non ci sono strade pedonali sicure per raggiungere l'hotel dalla fermata del bus (che è molto vicina e permette di raggiungere con facilità la stazione dei treni per arrivare nella parte centrale di Londra).
