“The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

“The man at check-in was incredibly pleasant and accommodating. I am used to staying in more modern hotel chains and this place was unlike them except that there were indoor corridors here too. What was different was lack of lobby, poor exterior and entrance, overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke everywhere, and grungy bedspreads. Otherwise, this place was similar in that the sheets and rug and bathroom were clean. I’ve stayed in worse, I’ve stayed in better. I paid $90 here for a prime Saturday...

“Close to town for shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed Waterhouse and Harlow's Pub. Heard that the Pearl is amazing but did not make it there. Brady's Grill, Beepa and Lulu's Restaurant are in walking distance. Visited Monadnock Eats which is great for grab n go. The last night we enjoyed a firepit at The Riverhouse with family. I forgot the Smores set up which would have been perfect. We all enjoyed the continental breakfast and ease of getting extra towels, Water, Coffee and Ice.”
