“Lovely clean room with a nice bathroom. Perfect for a short stay. Came with tea/coffee, a television and free WI-FI. No mini fridge. We didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of hot food and a continental breakfast. No road noise or unusual bumps in the night so had a wonderful, peaceful sleep. Useful parking at the rear of hotel and easy access to the town of Thirsk. Overall a lovely stay. Lovely staff. Lovely food and a lovely part of the world. ”

“The place is actually a mammouth service area. Food court closeby and wonderful park on the backside. They were short of personnel though and this affected some elements of the stay. Need to read the board where they state they do the rooms only after the third day (…?)”

“Positives: -Incredibly friendly staff -good inclusive breakfast -lots of free parking Negatives: - very expensive room price for amenities - very dated room, cracked floor tiles, broken toilet seat etc - rock hard pillows - springy mattress - small double bed - no aircon - wall heater or window for air”

“Couple of gripes first. Why no plug sockets near the mirror? Two plug sockets were situated behind the big mirror which was nigh on impossible to get to. Had to lift the big mirror out of the way to get to it to plug my appliance. Also at £134 for a night - why only Nescafé sachets for coffee. Basic! Asked staff if they had any coffee bags - no. Was advised that Sainsbury’s was only round the corner if I needed to buy any. Room was ok, small double, bed was very comfy. Bit noisy as the bed was...

“Good price for booking one day in advance. I would I stay here again? Probably not. Good for one night stop off heading North, but I can’t see it being an ideal location for a short break. ”

“Very comfortable stay. It’s 15 to 25 minutes drive from city centre but I would recommend taking the bus which picks up at property entrance. Good breakfast and parking. ”

“Sicuramente è un hotel molto carino con un buon serviIo e personale gentile. Molto complicato il parcheggio che non è nell hotel sebbene si siano attrezzati in modo da assicurarti il posto auto in un parcheggio affianco. Le camere non sono grandissime ma hanno l essenziale così come la colazione - molto misera rispetto ai soliti Marriott però comunque buon cibo. ”
