From providing free breakfast, to being an absolute legend, he made our stay feel very welcoming and reassuring with a comfortable spacious room, tv, Netflix, and comfortable lounge room and dining spaces. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home and relaxed. If I could give Helen’s homestead 6 stars, I would. Xoxo”

“A really nice property very close to Sovereign Hill. You need a car to get around town but it worked really well for 4 nights.”

“Rooms were clean and pleasant. Area around property needs to be cleaned. Weeds tidied at entrance and pit down to staff residence is an eye sore.”

“I didn't realise we were staying in a brand new little townhouse! It was great. Only negatives: 1. Wifi was really weak. 2. The dishwasher didn't work. We called the 24hr hotline (there'sno receptio), a bit after lunch on a Monday, they couldn't send someone to inspect until the next day. So, the 24hr service is for taking messages, not for repairing faults.”

“Great location and very convenient for a short stay. It’s within walking distance to a range of restaurants, and having McDonald’s, Coles and Big W nearby made everything really easy. The beds were comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the room itself felt quite run down and had a noticeable “old” smell. “Property is quite dated but its pretty good for the price. Room was clean. The only true negative was the fact that the bar below has live music that goes on until late which can be heard from the rooms.”
