“We loved staying here! My girlfriend and I stayed here on New Year's Eve and had a great stay. The inn is quaint and quiet, which made for a really pleasant way to ring in the new year. The room we had was very comfortable and unique. We drank wine at the wine bar in the lobby for most of our evening, and sat by the fireplace in our room for the rest of the time. Breakfast in the morning was really tasty as well, with a lot of different options. We would highly recommend this place to anyone...

“We loved this little inn! It’s in a perfect location which makes for an easy walk to all the restaurants on Lincoln. The room we stayed in (St Helena) was the perfect size and had a huge jacuzzi bathtub, which we used one of the nights we stayed. Unfortunately, the bathroom was freezing cold because of the attic door being inside and there is no proper shower in the room so that was one negative. “What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained....

“We have stayed here several times over the years and love this hotel. It is a great location, beautiful space and friendly staff. My only small complaint is that it is the middle of winter and I was hoping for more blankets or at least a duvet on the bed. It was a little cold and uncomfortable to have only sheets and a thin throw on the bed. But other than that, we had a wonderful stay! ”
