Located off Main Street in Bar Harbor, it was perfect for walks to restaurants, shops, the Shore Path or anything else in the downtown area and also minutes away from Acadia National Park. The place was really clean and had all the basics needed for the week. The owners, Lisa and Rick, made check in easy and were quick to respond to questions. As others have said, this house is a hidden gem in Bar Harbor. I would definitely book again if I ever go...

“We loved this property! The only downside was the bugs. We were so busy at the park in our two days there that we didn't really have much time to enjoy the outdoors at the property. But it was just as well since it was buggy.”

“This place has a fantastic view! There is a huge yard right on the water with relaxing chairs. The patio has a picnic table and a great grill. The owners lived next door and had chickens and gave us a dozen really fresh eggs. The inside was clean and comfortable. New appliances and whatever you could possibly need. There were kayaking boats, oars and vests that the 19!year olds used. It was so much fun!”

“Great location on MDI. Easy to get to EVERYTHING and very little traffic. If you are looking for low key, cleanliness and a welcoming deer everyday, this is the place to stay. Definitely would stay again. Everything has been updated...could use a couple of rugs to soak up the sound while talking or watching TV. Can't beat the location!”

“Had everything we needed for a family of 5. Views were nice for breakfast and sunset. Saw deer wondering through the back yard a couple of times. Heard the seals in the evening. Private. Most everything we did around Acadia was under 30 minutes from the house. Only negative in July is that the owners requested that air-conditioning be turned off when not home. Upstairs was 78-81 when we got back in the evenings. Took a while for the upstairs to cool back down for bed. Overall would stay again.”
