“This was our second stay here and again we really enjoyed it. Great location and most of all great staff!! One thing I will say is that Expedia advertise that ALL rooms have air conditioning when in fact they dont. Will definitely stay again”

“Albergo dalla conformazione un po' strana, con stanze disposte a mò di bungalow sul parcheggio esterno. Comodo set caffè o te in stanza, bagno pulito e abbastanza ampio. Staff estremamente cortese e competente. Il Borgo è carino, ma pare non foriero di particolari attrazioni. L'albergo è a una decina di km da Stansted ma servito dai mezzi pubblici solo fino ad una certa ora (bus 133) è con non grande frequenza. Il viaggio in taxi può essere molto costoso (attorno alle 22 sterline....

“I booked late in the day but staff were very welcoming on check in. Clean, warm and comfy room. Great pub attached and Excellent breakfast. Location is ideal right at the top of a busy high street but noise wasn't an issue during the stay.”

“We had a lovely stay at The Ship Inn. The room was really clean, bright and comfortable and plenty of space to relax in. Nice to have good quality coffee and tea facilities in the room and reasonably priced items on offer in room if you wanted it. Loved the roomy shower in the bathroom. Staff were really friendly and helpful (helped find a taxi). Food in the bar was excellent, and the main menu looked great (we will try next time). “Stayed at the Ivy Hill Hotel for a couple of nights visiting family for Christmas. An excellent hotel for a quiet break but within easy reach of London. Staff were fantastic. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast - both very nice. We were given a room upgrade and it was more spacious than our previous visit - very comfortable. Would definitely book again.”
