“This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression. “This is one of the best country inns we ever tried: charming, cozy and friendly. The atmosphere is authentic and warm, as are the owners. The country and the woods surrounding are great, even the breakfast is excellent! We loved the room and also the sitting room, full of beautiful books.”

“We don’t ski but this hotel is worth driving all the way to Killington for! We were attracted to this property by all the previous reviews so we decided to spend one night there. It was more than what we expected! We enjoyed everything there from the cookies and array of drinks to the abundant choice of breakfast items. The bed was comfortable and it’s a resort in itself. Will definitely be back and enjoy there hot tub!”
