Hotel vicino a Heron Haven - Omaha

“Convenient, economical given CWS coming to town. Clean, courteous. Friendly staff. Variety for breakfast.”

“This once very fine hotel is in a tragic state of disrepair. The revolving door into the opulent lobby was scraping and difficult to push. The lobby was hot and muggy with no, that is zero, AC. Bugs in the room apparently eating the furniture in the bathroom. Shower rod broken down. Carpet sticky. Beautifully appointed and sadly neglected.”

“Ice machine on our floor was out of order, then found 2 other similar ice machines on other floors there were also not working. Had to go to the lobby each time for ice. No available drinking water or fountain in the lobby and had to ask for the breakfast room to be opened so we could use the sink to get water there. No housekeeping services for our 2-night stay and had to ask for clean towels. Front office staff nice and genuinely cared though bringing us clean towels himself.”

“I arrived after midnight for a late check in and when I got up to my room the AC wasn't working. The front desk staff said there was nothing they could do and could not issue a refund. He also stated there was no emergency maintenance and no replacement rooms he could give me and they were fully booked on a Tuesday. He took down my number and said he'd have a manager call me. I ended up having to go to another hotel but I have not been contacted or refunded for a place I did not stay.”

“The property was o.k. The HVAC in the room was incredibly noisy. We could not sleep so we turned it off. The room then became very hot and stuffy. The bed was fine. The blankets and sheets were serviceable but should have already been replaced. There was no extra pillow or blanket. Accommodation was minimal. I would have expected more for the price of the room.”

“We had a king bed with a pull out sofa. The pull out sofa was broken and once we were able to get it out the mattress was stained with what looked like blood. Super super nasty. They don't do room service unless you are there for longer than 2 nights so we did not have clean towels the second morning. We had to go find towels and they only gave us 3 to start with. Towel quality was pretty sad as well. Thin very used towels.”

“Clean, very comfortable. No ice machines on the floor, but the staff had bags of ice for guests in the lobby fridge. We were there participating in the Ironman race and the staff was very helpful with food to go for a very early race start.”

“We had a very nice stay. The lobby area is large and has a lot of chairs, so it's a nice area to sit in and relax. They even have some games, like a pool table and a big Connect4 game for kids. We also really liked their breakfast. They had a good variety of food, and it was better quality than most hotel breakfasts I've had. The only drawback was our room setup. Although the room was called a "suite," it wasn't what I would consider a true hotel suite in terms of having two separate rooms...

“Room temperature was erratic. Bed very uncomfortable. No body soap in shower — completely empty.”

“Excellent location. Walkable food options. Quiet, safe. Hotel attached to free parking ramp.”

“Good location near shopping and restaurants common areas are well maintained and the free laundry was really nice. The room was poorly maintained, couch was terribly dirty and smelled, mattress was falling apart. Room reeked of room deodorizer when we first arrived, after that began to wear off, every day around 3pm, the room was flooded with fumes through a grill in the ceiling, and we were on the third floor.”

“The rooms have been recently remodeled. When I got to my room there was a 50' extension cord leading to a charger for the window shades. I reported it to the front desk and they had maintenance come and remove it. I had a King bed room. The only chair was the deak chair. There was plenty of room for a comfortable chair or even a lobe seat, but nothing was in the area except an end table. An end table with no seat next to it. Humm. They said they were still working on getting the rooms...

“It was in a great location! Breakfast and coffee every morning very convenient. Swimming pool was nice. Free laundry facilities was extra bonus since our stay was 7 days. Definitely recommend🤗”
