The stay started badly when staff first showed us a better room, then came back saying it was a mistake and moved us to another room after we put our stuff in already, which felt very unprofessional. The food was honestly terrible, especially dinner. For a ryokan, the quality was far below expectations, and the seafood did not feel fresh at all. They also only provided two towels, and when we asked for clean extras, the staff responded rudely and seemed...

“Perfect place for an overnight stay. The onsen was great and the scenery was serene with the sound of the river and pristine forest view. Be prepared to eat dinner early as most restaurants close at 7pm and are very busy with tourists so make a reservation ahead of time if possible. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel making it so convenient. Google Maps will show walking paths as the shortest route but I would recommend taking a longer route on a bus or taxi because the walking paths...
