“Orbit In is for anyone seeking a throwback to the mid century modern era. It is an older property with fairly basic amenities. Stayed in the Albert Frey room which had a fireplace, outdoor shower, and record player. Bed was comfortable. There is a cocktail hour by the pool. Staff was very nice. No breakfast included. There is a small hot tub and fire pit for winter nights. Great location and very walkable to most of downtown Palm Springs. ”

“We spent 4 nights in this charming, small, and private hotel. Our room was one of the smaller ones but had a kitchenette and a newly renovated bathroom. Because it’s not open to the public it has a very intimate atmosphere. It is walking distance to many interesting things to do in Palm Springs. We parked our car (no charge) and only used it once to meet friends at a supper club and once to run an errand on the other side of town. I loved our private hot tub and used it every day. “Rooms were great and very clean. Checking in was challenging since it’s all remote and no person at property. But once it worked out, it was easy. I think 4pm checking in is late, should be 3pm, since checkout is 11 My suggestion is to put at least 2 bottles of water in room. Complimentary , since there is no vending machine or place to buy anything. Otherwise, I would recommend it and would stay again. Thank you ”
