Kitchen comes equipped with the following items: basic dining, cooking, and serving essentials including plates, bowls, silverware, wine and drinking glasses, cooking utensils, and kitchen accessories such as can opener, wine opener, measuring spoons, and more. We also provide a spice rack, salt, and pepper. Other cooking essentials or supplies that are at times provided: condiments like ketchup, mayo, mustard. Foil, cling wrap, parchment paper, and zip lock bags as well.

House Supplies:
Your home will be stocked with an initial supply of trash bags, paper towels, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, laundry detergent.

Pool maintenance comes on Tuesdays and Friday. Gardening is Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Thank you for choosing our home. Please take the time to read and fully understand all the following rules and conditions. Ensure that you explain them to your guests, as you and all your guests will be responsible for complying with them. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Guests are responsible for any fees and will be charged for damages or citations resulting from non-compliance with these rules. Violations may also result in immediate removal from the property without a refund.

ALL HOMES ARE EQUIPPED WITH EXTERNAL VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDING DEVICES, which will remain operational throughout your reservation for both your protection and ours. For details about the locations of these devices, please refer to the “Health and Safety” section.

Guests staying in gated communities are required to verify and provide the full names (first and last) of all guests in their party. Drivers must also provide their full name and the names of all passengers. This process ensures community access, confirms the number of guests included in the booking, and enforces compliance with maximum occupancy limits.

General Rules:

• No Smoking Indoors: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home. Outdoor smoking is permitted only in the designated area, but all windows and doors must remain closed while smoking. If evidence of smoking, including the smell of cigarettes or marijuana, is detected indoors, the host reserves the right to charge up to $1,000 or more to cover the cost of extra cleaning and odor removal. Compensation from the guest will be provided through Airbnb’s Resolution Center.

• Property Security: Always lock all windows, sliders, and doors when leaving the property.

• Lake Rules: Swimming in the lake is strictly prohibited. If caught swimming, you will forfeit $500 of your damage deposit.

• Furniture Use: Use furniture as intended and do not move furniture under any circumstances.

• Restricted Areas: Do not attempt to access locked closets or storage areas.

• Fireplace and Firepit: Do not throw paper or combustible materials into the fireplace or outdoor firepit.

• Toilets: Flush toilet paper only. Do not flush wipes, feminine products, or any other items.

• Thermostats: Do not set thermostats below 72°F. Setting them lower can cause the units to freeze and result in damage.

• Electronics and Appliances: Avoid plugging in high-wattage electronics or appliances inside or outside, as this can trip circuit breakers. This may result in the loss of WiFi or control of outdoor features.

• Pets: All pets must be pre-approved by the host. Failure to notify the host of a pet will result in a $500 fine deducted from the deposit.

Pool and Outdoor Features:

• No Glassware Near the Pool: Broken glass in the pool will require complete drainage to remove glass, and the cost will be billed to the guest.

• Pool Controls: Pool and outdoor features can be controlled using the spa controller in the spa or the iPad/iPhone/pool remote inside the house. Please refer to the home’s provided instruction booklet for directions.

• Wind Precautions: Do not use the firepit or open umbrellas/awnings on windy days, as this can cause damage.

• Pool Floats: Remove all pool floats from the water every night to allow proper filtration.

• Firepit and Grill Safety: Close umbrellas/awnings while using the firepit or grill to prevent fire hazards.

• Nighttime Precautions: Turn off the firepit and close all umbrellas/awnings overnight.

• Charcoal Grills: If you use a charcoal grill, dispose of ashes in the metal ash bucket provided.

• Heating Requests: Contact the host to request pool or spa heating.

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the pool, spa, or outdoor features during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to pool equipment, umbrellas, awnings, furniture, or landscaping. A penalty of no less than $100 and up to $1,000 will be assessed based on the severity of the damage. This charge is payable immediately and will be requested through Airbnb’s Resolution Center or similar platform if applicable. Ensure proper use of all outdoor amenities to avoid these charges.

Noise and Nuisance Rules:

• Quiet Hours: The City of Indio and Community of Terra Lago has a noise policy from 10 PM to 10 AM. Noise complaints may result in immediate removal from the property. Avoid loud noises outdoors after 10 PM.

• Prohibited Equipment: Amplified music and DJ equipment are strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation, and you must vacate the property. Trespassing charges may be considered.

• Fines for Violations: You are responsible for any community or city fines related to noise violations, which can total up to $5,000. The first violation carries a minimum fine of $1,000, payable immediately after the infraction.

• Respect for Neighbors: Keep daytime noise at a reasonable level and do not trespass on neighboring properties without permission.

Additional Guests:

• Only the number of guests specified in the booking are allowed to check in unless authorized by the host or property owner.

• Guests staying in gated communities must provide full names for security gate access.

• We reserve the right to allow or decline any day visitors.

• If the number of guests exceeds what was booked, you agree to pay $100 per night for each additional guest, with a minimum charge of $1,000 for extra guests.

• If you exceed the maximum occupancy, the reservation will be canceled without a refund, at which point you will be trespassing and agree to vacate the premises. If you fail to leave the property, the police may be contacted to assist with your removal for trespassing.

Check-In/Out Times:

• The earliest check in time is 4 PM and the latest check out time is 10 AM for all guests and visitors unless otherwise authorized by the host.

• Late check-out will result in a penalty of $100 per hour. If you check out more than two hours late, you will be charged the full base rate for the day. If a future booking is canceled due to your late check-out, you will be responsible for reimbursing the lost booking.

This is a nice house that is well stocked. The kitchen is very well stocked with clean appliances, cookware, cooking utensils, dinnerware and flatware that were all in great condition. They have a K-cup machine, Nespresso and drip coffee maker with filters. However, if you want to use the Nespresso, you'll need to bring your own Vertuo pods. They have 2 spice racks full of every spice, except salt. There's ample paper towels, napkins and toilet paper. We couldn't find any kitchen towels or hand towels (although plenty of bath and pool towels). Even though there were plenty of paper towels, we just didn't like wasting paper towels to dry our hands. Bathrooms were fully stocked with full size shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, liquid hand soap and hand sanitizer. Owner was very quick to respond to questions. Overall, very satisfied with our stay here.

What an absolutely beautiful vacation home to rent! Steve really put a lot of thought into making his guests feel the comforts of home. Special touches: He had the pool heat turned on and ready to go when we arrived, it is so nice and warm, garage parking with garage door opener, luggage racks, charging stations at all bed side tables, TVs in all bedrooms, laundry baskets in all bedrooms, plenty of throw blankets, lots of towels, big bottles of shampoo conditioner and body wash in all showers, light cleaning supplies (I love to mop the floor daily) The kitchen is stocked with everything that you could possibly need including a ninja, waffle iron, pressure cooker, kurieg, coffee pot, bread maker tons of dishes even for kids including sippy cups and wine glasses, champagne flutes, high and low ball glasses, and more...huge dinning room table! Definitely family friendly= games, high chair, crib, bath sling, baby gate, stroller, wagon and I'm sure more that I didn't notice because I didn't bring kids. For dog, fenced yard, nearby dog walking area, and dog shampoo. The game room and living room was our favorite hang out spot. I give this place 10 stars!!! Steve wants to make this place perfectly comfortable so the few tips for him to improve would be add a trash can to laundry room and each bedroom (not a big deal but would've been nice to have). Garage door needs some wd40 sprayed on wheels...I squeaks super loud when going up/down. Washer needs a shim or balanced it is a little wobbly. Change the coffee bar into a dry bar (can be a selling point for renters). The grill gets very dark. Couldn't cook at night. More lights back there would be great. The blinds at sliding glass doors are a nightmare and need updated. Very hard to open or close without slats falling off. High power make up mirror in bathrooms would be a nice touch.
